Blink-182’s long-discussed reunion tour finally has some confirmed dates. Kicking off July 24 in Las Vegas, the band will work its way east across North America before taking a swing back to the West Coast, Southwest and Deep South, eventually winding down October 3 in that other gambling mecca, Atlantic City.
According to Billboard, Weezer, Fall Out Boy, Panic! at the Disco, All-American Rejects, Taking Back Sunday, Asher Roth and Chester French will be supporting the band at different venues, although it’s unclear which bands will be playing at which stops on the tour.
Blink-182’s manager, Rick Devoe, indicated that the group, which announced its return in February, will be focusing on hits during this tour but that “we’re hoping to have at least one new song in the repertoire.” The betting is that most fans will be perfectly happy to hear the old favorites – after all, this is the group’s first tour in five years.
